The Glorious Feast of the Cross, 2024
بِمُنَاسَبَةِ تَذكارُ تَكرِيسِ كَنِيسَةِ الصَّلِيبِ؛ سَتَتِمُ إِقَامَةِ القُدَّاسِ الإلَهِي؛ العِبَادَةِ الليتُورجِيَّةِ فِي الكَنِيسَةِ، فِي السَّاعَةِ الثَّامِنَةِ مِن صَبَاحِ السَبتِ الثَامِن والعِشرِينَ من شَهْرِنَا الحَالِي؛ سِبتَمْبِر، بِمُبَارَكَةِ قُدسِ أَبِينَا الفَاضِلِ، القُمُّص أَخنُوخ البَرَامُوسِي، كَاهِنِ كَنِيسَةِ مَارِ مَرقُسَ الرَّسُولِ، لويفيل، كنتاكي، كُلُّ سَنَةٍ وشَعبُ الكَنِيسَةِ بِكُلِّ ثَبَاتٍ وَإِطمِئنَانٍ في المَسِيحِ الحَيِّ؛ الصَخرَةِ الصُّلبَةِ الَّتِي بُنِيَت عَلَيهَا كَنِيسَتُنَا.
وَكَذَلِكَ تَهنِئَةٌ قَلْبِيَّةٌ إِلَى مُحِبِّي كنِيسَتِنَا، وَسَائِرِ المُتَابِعِينَ.
وَسَنُوَافِي حَضَرَاتِكُم تِبَاعًا _حَسَبِ مَشِيئَةِ المَسِيحِ الحَىِّ، وَقُوَّتِهِ، وَأُبُوَّتِهِ؛_ بِمَوَاعِيدِ القُدَّاسَاتِ، حَتَّى يَتَنَعَّمَ القَطِيعُ الصَّغِيرُ بِدَوَامِ الثَّبَاتِ فِي المَسِيحِ الحَيِّ.
وَلَكُمْ جَمِيعًا، أَيُّهَا القَطِيعُ الصَّغِيرُ، وَكَذَلِكَ مُحِبِّي كَنِيسَتِنَا، وَسَائِرَ المُتَابِعِينَ، السَّلَامُ، وَإِحتِرَامٌ.
وَمِن ذُكصُولُجِيَّةِ عِيدِ الصَّلِيبِ، نُصَلِّي بِخُشُوعٍ، وإِيمَانٍ، قَائِلِينَ:
"السَّلَامُ لَكَ أَيُّهَا الصَّلِيبُ، ثَبَاتَنَا نَحنُ مَعشَرُ المُؤمِنِينَ."

Without clear organization, it could take much longer (an hour or more).
Tools: Using tickets, numbered badges, or pre-assigned group lists can make the process much faster.

I am thinking about Lord Christ when he blessed the 5 loaves and 2 fishes, he ordered his disciples to make the 5000 groups of fifty fifty, in your opinion, how long it takes the disciples to do so?

If we think about the scene in the Gospels (Matthew 14, Mark 6, Luke 9, John 6):
There were about 5,000 men, plus women and children.
Jesus told His disciples to “make them sit down in groups of fifty”.
The disciples were twelve, and likely others helped (maybe the crowd itself was cooperative, since they were attentive to Christ).
Now, practically speaking:
If each disciple organized about 400–500 people, that’s about 8–10 groups per disciple.
With people sitting on the grass in open areas, and with everyone motivated to listen to Christ, it could have gone quickly.
If each group took 2–3 minutes to settle, the whole arrangement might have taken 15–30 minutes total.
So, in my opinion, it was not a long process — the people were already focused on Jesus, and the disciples’ instructions would have been followed eagerly. ✨
