الدليل القويم للشماس المستقيم

من جمعة ختام الصوم إلى قداس شم النسيم

أخي الحبيب الشماس فلان الفلاني..

هذه الرسالة ليست لك و لكنني كتبتُها لنفسي و أحببتُ أن تطالعها معي..

إذ أنك تعلم أن الفترة الذهبية في كنيستنا هي الإحدى عشر يوماً التي تبدأ من قداس جمعة ختام الصوم و تنتهي مع البركة و تسريح الشعب بسلام في قداس الاثنين يوم شم النسيم..

و الفترة الذهبية الأخرى هي في النهضات الروحية التي تشهدها الكنيسة في صوم سيدتنا و ملكتنا العذراء مريم أو في تذكار شفيع الكنيسة الخاص بها..

إلا أن الإحدى عشر يوماً تظل هي درة تاج الليتورجيات الأرثوذكسية..

أسمعك تتساءل: حسناً.. و ماذا بعد؟!..

كلماتي القادمة أخاطب نفسي بها أمامك..
و أخاطبها كل عام بمثل هذه الكلمات..

إلا أنني أحببتُ أن أجعلك شاهداً..

أن أُشْهِدَك على كلماتي هذه..

الشماس هو العامل بقوة من أجل سلامة البيعة و هدوء العبادة و راحة الجميع..

راحة الآباء الكهنة و راحة مدبري الكنيسة و راحة الشعب..

الشماس هو الكائن من أجل أن ينهل الجميع من بركات الأيام المقدسة دون عثرة و دون تشويش و دون تعب..

قلتُ لنفسي..

إستعد لهذه الفترة مسبقاً.. و حينما تصل إلى الخميس السابق لجمعة ختام الصوم قُم بأداء ميطانيات لأجل أحبائك و إخوتك و سلامة البيعة و هدوء العبادة و مثالية تدبير الكنيسة..

من الضروري مراجعة لحن لازاروس و  الطقس الشعانيني مسبقاً..

إفهم أن الشيطان يتحرك بقوة في التجمعات المسيحية..

في ختام الصوم تحديداً.. إياك و الانفعال.. كن هادئاً و متحفظاً..

بعد ختام الصوم إنصرف بسرعة من الكنيسة دون خِلْطَة و هيئ نفسك لجولة جديدة في أحد الشعانين..

إذهب إلى قداس سبت لعازر.. هو شحن معنوي لما هو آتٍ عليك..

إذهب إلى عشية الشعانين و إحرص على ترديد ماشيناك و كأنك تترقب الموقف من بعيد.. من الجبال العالية..

عليك يا أخي أن تحضر باكر الشعانين لتنال بركة زفة السعف، مهما كان القداس الذي ستخدم به حسب توزيع مدبريك عليك في أحد الشعانين..

إحضر البصخة حسب وقتك و بكل طاقتك..

لا تبدأ في تخفيف ملابسك الشتوية بشكل حاد..

و الآن..

إانتبه لما سأقول..

إرتدِ قميصك الأسود.. نعم.. هو ما أقصده.. القميص الذي إعتدتَ أن ترتديه فقط في أسبوع الآلام.. مع الجينز العملي..

إحرص على وجود تليك أسود ذي نعل بلاستيكي رقيق.. هو ما ستتحرك به داخل الهيكل و الكنيسة و بين أسوارها في ساعات البصخة لتلبية أي أمر لمدبريك..

إذهب و معك دلال البصخة الخاص بك.. كتاب أو تحميل على الموبايل أو  بأي صورة.. لا تذهب للبصخة بدون دلالك الخاص..

إن أمكن إصطحب معك قلمك الرصاص و الممحاة و مجموعة من أقراص النعناع..

أنت تعلم أن الشيطان يحارب الجميع بقوة.. لذلك.. إحذر من النظرات غير اللائقة.. غير الطاهرة مع شعب الجهة البحرية..

نظرات تأتي صدفة و تستقر لثوان ثم تذهب ثم تعود لتستقر..

هذا لا يليق بك يا أخي..

لا يليق أبداً..

إجلس معطياً ظهرك للجهة البحرية و رامياً ببصرك تجاه شعب الجهة القبلية لتهرب من العثرات..

هذا أفضل جداً..

إحترس من الإفتخار و حب الظهور..

لا تُسلِّم ذاتك للنميمة و خطايا اللسان المتنوعة و كثرة الكلام..

إحرص على قمع لسانك بشدة طوال هذه الفترة..

أطع مدبريك طاعة عمياء..

لا تتساءل عن قراءات أو توزيعات..

إن أخذتَ بركة جدول أو نسَوَك أو تجاهلوك أو أي شئ..

أشكر الله في كل الأحوال و لا تفكر و كن أميناً..

لا يليق أن تقارن بينك و بين إخوتك في بركات البصخة..

لا تفكر بهذه السطحية..

فقط كن مستعداً لتلبية أي أمر باتضاع و سكون..

لا تقل أن فلاناً لم يُجِدْ و أن علاناً أخطأ في المرد و ترتاناً قرأ بطريقة مضحكة..

لا يكن فيك هذا يا ابني..

كن حنوناً رقيقاً وديعاً مع الآباء و المدبرين و عمال الكنيسة و فريق الكشافة و كل الشعب..

الشيطان يتحرك.. أبطل تحركاته..

أنت الجندي الساهر المستيقظ..

تتساءل إن كنتُ أستدرجك لطريق مرثا..

أخي العزيز.. أستدرجك للطريقين..

مرثا و بكل قوة..

حتى تهدأ و تستريح و تنتقل للطريق المريمي..

لن يستطيع أحد القيام بدور مرثا إلا أنت..

و مريمك هو أن الجميع من حولك يتمريمون في هدوء..

و حينما يتمريم الكل في الكنيسة تتمريم أنت آيضا..

إفهم ما أقول..

إن دُعيتَ لتركيب المزمور اشكر الله..

إن دُعيتَ في بصخة أخرى لتركيب مزمور آخر عليك أن تخبر المدبر  أنه سبق لك و نلت هذه البركة..

غَيْرُك أكثر جدارة بهذه البركة..

ارفض المزمور الثاني.. و تشدد قليلاً في رفضك بأن مزمور واحد و كفى..

و لكن إن أصر مدبروك.. إستجب لحكم الطاعة..

إياك في الإحدى عشر يوماً أن تترك كنيستك إلى أخرى..

إياك أن تقول أريد عظة القمص فلان أو أستمع إلى كلمات القس علان..

لا تبرح كنيستك أبداً..

أبداً..

لا تذهب إلى دير.. إلزم أسوار كنيستك.. هي في حاجة إليك..

عليك أن تنتهي من مراجعة طقس و ألحان خميس العهد و الجمعة العظيمة و سبت الفرح أيام البصخة الاثنين و الثلاثاء و الأربعاء..

و بعد نهاية قداس سبت الفرح إبدأ في مراجعة ألحان احد القيامة..

إنتبه..

لا تذهب إلى منزلك بعد أحد الشعانين..

إشترك في إعداد الكنيسة للبصخة حتى إن لم تُدعى لذلك العمل..

لا تتخيل البركات التي ينالها الفاعلون ذلك..

كذلك لا تذهب لمنزلك بعد قداس خميس العهد..

إستعد للباراقليط..

و بعد بصخة ليلة الجمعة العظيمة.. عليك أن تشترك في إعداد الكنيسة للجمعة العظيمة..

بركات كثيرة يا أخي تنالها من هذه الأعمال..

أخاطب شبابك و قوتك و صحتك أن تلتزم بكل ذلك..

ذخيرة لك عند كِبَرك.. الروحي أو الجسدي..

كن حمامة وديعة..

كن جاذباً للهدوء..

بركاناً فائراً يحافظ على تدبير البيعة و هدوء العبادة و سلامة الكنيسة و الآباء الكهنة و كل الشعب..

كن مستيقظاً ذا عينين مفتوحتين و أذنيين مصغيتين و قلبا مرهفاً و عقلاً متوقداً..

لا تتغافل عن الذهاب إلى قداس شم النسيم و نوال حنوط الدفنة و ختام البركات..

كل سنة و أنت بكل خير و سعادة و بركة..

​دليل "الشماس الـ Pro": كيف تعيش الـ 11 يوماً الذهبية؟

​صديقي الشماس، هذه الرسالة ليست مجرد نصائح، بل هي "Manual" كتبته لنفسي وأحببت أن أشاركه معك. أنت تعلم أن الفترة من جمعة ختام الصوم حتى قداس شم النسيم هي الـ "Peak" الروحي في كنيستنا، هي "درة التاج" التي لا تُعوض.

​ربما تتساءل: ما هو دوري الحقيقي؟

دورك يا صديقي هو أن تكون "المنظم الخفي" (The Silent Guardian). الشماس الحقيقي هو من يعمل لتوفير الهدوء والراحة للآباء الكهنة وللشعب، لينهش الجميع من البركة دون أي "Distraction".

​خطتك للتحرك:

​الاستعداد المسبق: قبل ختام الصوم، ابدأ بميطانيات من أجل سلامة الخدمة. راجع لحن "لازاروس" والطقس الشعانيني جيداً.

​الهدوء التام: الشيطان ينشط في التجمعات؛ لذا كن "Chill" جداً ولا تنفعل مهما حدث.

​المظهر والعملية: ارتدي قميصك الأسود المعتاد مع جينز عملي، و"تليك" مريح للحركة السريعة داخل الهيكل.

​حقيبة الطوارئ: دلال البصخة الخاص بك (ورقي أو Mobile App)، قلم رصاص، وأقراص نعناع لتركيزك.

​الفوكس الروحي: اهرب من العثرات. اجلس بحيث لا يكون نظرك مشتتاً بوجوه الشعب، ركز في صلواتك فقط.

​Ego Check: لا تبحث عن الظهور أو "السولو". أطع المدبرين طاعة عمياء، سواء كنت في الجدول أو تم تجاهلك، فخدمتك لله وليست للمقاعد الأولى.

​دعم الفريق: لا تنتقد أخطاء إخوتك في الألحان. كن "Supportive" ولطيفاً مع الجميع، من أصغر طفل للكشافة للعمال.

​أنت الآن في دور "مرثا" (الخدمة الشاقة) لكي يستطيع غيرك أن يكون في دور "مريم" (التأمل)، وعندما يهدأ الوضع، ستجد نفسك "تتمريم" معهم في سكينة. التزم بكنيستك، لا تشتت نفسك بالبحث عن عظات هنا أو هناك، فكنيستك تحتاج طاقتك الآن.

The Righteous Guide for the Upright Deacon

​From the Friday of the End of Great Lent to the Liturgy of Easter Monday

​To my beloved brother, the Deacon...

​This message is not just for you; I have written it for myself, and I wanted you to contemplate it with me. As you know, the "Golden Period" of our Church is the eleven days that begin with the Liturgy of the Last Friday of Great Lent and conclude with the final blessing and the dismissal of the people in peace during the Liturgy of Easter Monday (Sham El-Nessim).

​While the spiritual revivals during the Fast of the Virgin Mary or the feasts of church patron saints are also golden periods, these eleven days remain the "Crown Jewel" of Orthodox Liturgies. I can hear you asking: "Fine... but what comes next?"

​I address myself with these words every year, but this time, I wanted to make you a witness to them.

​The Deacon is the one who works diligently for the peace of the Church, the tranquility of worship, and the comfort of everyone: the priests, the church managers, and the congregation. The Deacon exists so that everyone may draw from the blessings of these holy days without stumbling, distraction, or fatigue.

​I say to myself:

• ​Prepare in advance: When you reach the Thursday before the end of the Fast, perform metanias (prostrations) for your loved ones, your brothers, the safety of the Church, and the perfection of its order.
• ​Master the Rites: It is essential to review the hymn of "Lazarus" and the Palm Sunday rites beforehand.
• ​Stay Calm: Understand that the enemy moves strongly in Christian gatherings. Specifically at the end of the Fast, beware of anger. Remain calm and reserved.
• ​Focus on the Goal: After the Friday Liturgy, leave the church quickly without unnecessary socializing. Prepare yourself for Palm Sunday. Attend the Liturgy of Lazarus Saturday; it is a spiritual recharge for what is to come.
• ​The Palm Sunday Spirit: Attend the Eve of Palm Sunday and chant the "Marching" hymns as if you are watching the scene from afar—from the high mountains. Attend the Morning Service to receive the blessing of the palm procession, regardless of which Liturgy you are assigned to serve.

​Practical Instructions for the Holy Week:

• ​Attend the Pascha (Holy Week) services according to your time and with all your energy. Do not start thinning out your winter clothes too abruptly.
• ​The Attire: Wear your black shirt—the one you dedicate only to Holy Week—with practical jeans. Wear black slippers with thin rubber soles for silent and quick movement within the Sanctuary and the church to serve the needs of the clergy.
• ​Your Tools: Carry your own Dallal (Pascha book), whether it is a physical book or a digital copy on your phone. If possible, bring a pencil, an eraser, and mints.

​Guard Your Heart:

• ​The enemy fights everyone fiercely. Beware of inappropriate or impure glances toward the congregation. It is unfitting for you, my brother. Sit with your back toward the distractions and keep your eyes focused on your prayers to avoid stumbling.
• ​Avoid pride and the desire to be noticed. Do not give yourself over to gossip, sins of the tongue, or excessive talking. Restrain your tongue strictly during this period.
• ​Obedience: Obey your leaders blindly. Do not question the readings or the assignments. Whether you are given a blessing in the schedule or you are forgotten/ignored, thank God in all circumstances. Do not compare yourself to your brothers regarding "prime" slots or blessings. Just be ready to serve with humility and silence.

​Be a Soldier of Peace:

• ​Do not criticize others. Do not say "so-and-so didn't do well" or "that person made a mistake in a response." Be kind, gentle, and meek with the fathers, the organizers, the church workers, the scouts, and the congregation.
• ​You are the watchful soldier. You might ask if I am leading you to the "Path of Martha." My brother, I am leading you to both: the path of Martha with full strength so that everyone around you can experience the path of Mary in peace. When everyone in the church is at peace, you too will find your rest.

​Humility in Service:

• ​If you are invited to lead a Psalm, thank God. But if you are invited again at another service, inform the leader that you have already received that blessing and that someone else is more deserving. Be firm in refusing the second time—one is enough. However, if they insist, respond with the virtue of obedience.

​Loyalty to Your Parish:

• ​During these eleven days, do not leave your church for another. Do not say "I want to hear the sermon of Father so-and-so." Stay within the walls of your own church; it needs you.
• ​Finish reviewing the rites of Covenant Thursday, Good Friday, and Bright Saturday during the first three days of Pascha. After the Liturgy of Bright Saturday, begin reviewing the Resurrection hymns.

​The Invisible Blessings:

• ​Do not go home immediately after Palm Sunday or Covenant Thursday. Stay and participate in preparing the church for the upcoming services, even if you weren't officially asked. The blessings received by those who do this work are beyond imagination.

​A Final Word:

I address your youth, your strength, and your health—commit to these things. They will be your spiritual treasure when you grow older. Be a gentle dove and a magnet for tranquility. Be a burning volcano that guards the order of the House of God. Stay awake, with open eyes, listening ears, a sensitive heart, and a bright mind. Do not miss the Liturgy of Sham El-Nessim to receive the final blessings.
